Modern Renaissance was created to make art and creativity feel more accessible, social and enjoyable. It started with life drawing - bringing people together in a relaxed space to draw from real models, meet new people and spend a few hours doing something a little different.

Our classes are about giving you the space to experiment, have a go and enjoy the process. Some people come to draw seriously, some come for a drink and a laugh, and others come simply because they want to try something new.

Over time, Modern Renaissance has grown beyond our regular life drawing classes. We now create private events and experiences for celebrations, brands and groups, as well as an art shop filled with things we genuinely love.

Everything we do comes back to the same idea of creating more opportunities for people to make, connect and enjoy themselves. Whether you join us for a weekly class, book a private event or take something home from the shop, we want Modern Renaissance to feel like a place you’re always happy to come back to.
